uhhmmm heh uhh . . . you weren't waiting for me where you?

So, it went kind of like this. . .

Story A
I was riding my bike home when I saw a strange figure moving quickly through the trees. As one does, when seeing a monster/alien/mutant in a forest setting, I pursued. Once I regained consciousness, after hours maybe days, I could see several shapes moving in the shadows and speaking a language unknown to me. It was cold and I noticed that my shoes where on the wrong feet. In subsequent weeks of captivity I slowly gained the trust of my captors. When I told them the story of Rubbot, I was promptly released back to my own world so that I may finish this important work for humanity.

Story B
After the beta testing results came back I dug back into the design. There where a couple of big problems I needed to fix and rather than announcing "almost done" every week I wanted to wait until it was actually done. Of course, one week turned into two, then three popped up. . . four was right on it's heels. . . Anyway, thanks for your patience - you'll be happy to hear we did solve the problems!

The two big hits where that the motor was overheating and the drive shaft was snapping in half! Fortunately, these problems didn't pose any danger to the user - aside from the danger of not having a functional Rubbot on hand ;)

To address some of the comments/concerns about Rubbot knock-offs, all we can really do is make sure it's a bullet-proof design, with buttery-smooth operation and build a reputation for quality. Plus we've got the full backing of the Sasquatch community now. Take it from me, those hairy bastards could use a male sex toy!

We'll try to keep on posting regular blogs around here (toytalk's been on strike - since i haven't been writing). I still need to tell you guys about the beta testing feedback. . .
