Hey peeps!
This is a quick note to address the restlessness out there.
The net-net is there was a collective sigh of relief, by team rubbot, when we learned that the large majority of testers really loved it!
You can console yourself in the knowledge that the testers where required to return the units after the testing period - we can't have early rubbots floating around at this point!
We will do a more thorough run-down later, it's taking a lot of time to sort through it. In short, though, the positive results have revitalized our momentum - but we also uncovered a host of design issues that need to be fixed.
Keep an eye on the lab. Labrat will be posting more details soon.

Has anyone asked or already discussed having these with a USB connection so they can be used with the Trance software and online interaction?

I can't wait for BETA v. 2!
My guess ; some major porn-company has bought into the rubbot. It's gonna be just like nike shoes that cannot be faked because they have apple implants. Maybe vivid or someone ealse like bangbros has bought rubbot, and are making it a must have, like a hardware-solution to all the porn-tubes around. Can't be open source then y'a know.
The next challenge for product makers is home-based 3d-printing, that will make anything open source.
Well, of all the well meant sites on the interweps, i believe this on has stopped broadcasting.
Even if there are issues, just post em, keep us in the loop.
And if i may be so free, if issues are in your personal lives so u cant continue this. I have a sollution.

It's been a while now, over a month. I'm starting to think something went really, really wrong. Maybe the little guys went haywire and are trying to set off the Rubbot Apocalypse.

What you guys have "real" jobs during the day or something??? Honestly I don't see how you find the time to undertake something like this project "on the side" I've been working on an all grain homebrew stand to make my own beer at home in my spare time and it's taken me over a year and i still can't brew on it!!!! Keep up the good work!
I'm not too surprised that the testers loved it, the basic design was too perfect. The only thing I really want to know is when can I get one?
That's great news. Maybe we're just a few steps now from retail. Or even better a Beta2.

Oh, man. Finally some news. I know you guys are working your butts off, but I have been dying to hear what the results are. Well, good luck with updating your data and making whatever changes you have too. Can't wait to hear some more news. Thanks for keeping us posted.
